Why Assignments & Activities?

First of all, these are not assignments meant to be an academic exercise or to win our approval. We have done our best to come up with things you might do to respond to whatever you hear of God in the things we have to share.

Be productive Not just busy lifepalette_comSecond, sharing with each other is part of a very effective learning rubric that has helped us grow spiritually: To learn, read / To understand, write / To improve, practice / To master, teach. By sharing your thoughts and questions with someone else in the group we hope you are pushed in the direction of mastering those truths. When you share your heart with another (i.e., teach), it helps to clarify what thoughts and values are literally forming your spiritual life going forward.

Third, you could copy and paste, but it’s probably easier to work at the activities on your end however it works best for you.

Finally, in order for us to continue leading this group effort, it would be helpful if you could send us a brief paragraph listing the insights you’re gaining, or questions you haven’t yet resolved. If you can do this weekly, that’s awesome! We just want you to share your heart with us however you can.

Embracing the journey in Christ!

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10 (ESV)
